I've been using Flash for about 15 years, 4 years ago I switched to Toon Boom and I have never looked back. It is my favorite animation software BY FAR over Flash. I can animate faster, create 3D scenes, and best of all... I LOVE USING THE BRUSH!!!

This was the main reason I switched.

Toon Boom gets a bad rap for being hard to learn-- I don't think that's true at all! In this video I will go over the basics of how to navigate, tips and tricks, and how to make your own cartoon for YouTube or Newgrounds!

By the end of this tutorial, you'll know how to animate in Toon Boom even if you've never opened the program before!

Toon Boom is my favorite animation program, but it has a reputation for being hard to learn which I don't think is completely true. It just has a lot of features, but the basics of how to animate are pretty easy!

I prefer the brush in Toon Boom compared to Flash as well. This is the main reason I switched to only using Toon Boom for my animations! Let me know if you have any questions! :)
